Interesting ruling. As a former journalism student, I believe in freedom of speech, but hurtful, unsubstantiated comments can be so hurtful.

Frankly, it seems to me that intelligent people will take what they read in anonymous blog comments with a grain of salt, and the opinion of anyone who doesn't isn't worth worrying about.
