Tarpley, NBA End Legal Battle | Houston weather, traffic, and news | MyFoxHouston.com | FOX 26: "Tarpley filed a federal lawsuit against the NBA in Sept. 2007 alleging the league and the Mavericks violated the American with Disabilities Act for denying him the right to be reinstated to the NBA.
Tarpley was banned for life from the NBA in 1995 for using alcohol and violating the terms of a court-mandated aftercare program."
